I have an extensive international experience in research and education. My research includes a number of subjects and industries, but especially the aerospace sector. A lot of my research is based on structural changes within companies organizations and countries. Such examples are develop-ments and changes of international subcontracting in the aircraft industry, supply-chain structures in various industries, clusters and industrial policies.

I have spent years abroad in a large number of countries and initiated various co-operation agreements (research, university co-operation and student exchange) between Sweden and universities in Asia, Europe and North America.

By profession an economic geographer (PhD) I also have a big interest in international politics and international development.

I retired after 21 years as professor at Jönköping International Business School, but continue as an active independent researcher and educator.
